The revolving stage (Nagadoko) of Nishiiwashiro Hachiman Shrine isdedicated to the children’s dance, a prefectural intangible folk cultural property. Previously, it was also the stage for the plays of young people and travelers. It’s the oldest long floor in Wakayama prefecture with a stage that was rebuilt in 1890.

The children’s dance is a central part of the autumn festival.
