Ume, or Japanese apricot, are one of the main agricultural products of Minabe. Umeboshi, or salted pickled ume, is the most popular product made from ume. Come make your own and take it home to enjoy!
In this workshop you can life the pickled ume out of the barrel and sun-dry them.
You can observe and learn about the manufacturing process of umeboshi and experience making original umeboshi by blending the sauce to your liking.
