Wakayama Japan

Crowds gather to enjoy the sight and aroma of thousands of ume trees blossoming in the early spring. Food and local goods, especially produce and pickles, are sold along the road to the main gate. The park opens from late January to early March every year and is in full bloom around mid-February.

Pets allowed. Walking shoes recommended.

Adults (High school students and up) : 500 yen
Children (Elementary and Junior high school students) : 200 yen
