Minabe Oji Shrine

One of the large Kumano ninty-nine Shrines which Emperor Gotoba dedicated 6 silks, 150 cottons, and 3 horses to. It was called one of the Minabe shrines until it was enshrined at Suga Shrine in 1890.

The basement is the ruins of the middle Yayoi period, and in the precincts there is a plate monument of the Kamakura period and an Oguri well where Judge Oguri drank water.
